Changes to Request for Full WSQ Qualification

 

Please note that according to WSQ policy, the ATO/CC/PP that has assessed a trainee to be competent in the WSQ competency unit that leads to the trainee’s last WSQ SOA which is needed for the trainee to attain a full WSQ qualification, the ATO/CC/PP is required to issue the WSQ full qualification to the trainee.

 

2.            The ATO/CC/PP that assessed the last WSQ SOA leading to a full qualification, is considered the last-stop ATO and the issuing institute of a WSQ full qualification. As such, the last-stop ATO’s/CC’s/PP’s name will be the name printed on the WSQ full qualification certificate. As the last-stop ATO, the ATO/CC/PP is also responsible for the delivery and invoicing of the WSQ full qualification certificate.

 

3.            With effect from 1st September 2014, the request for WSQ full qualifications is to be made by the last-stop ATO. Therefore, where POLWEL Co-operative Society Limited is the assessment centre that has assessed the last WSQ SOA leading to a full qualification, the request is to be made by POLWEL Co-operative Society Limited as the last-stop ATO.

 

4.            Similarly, where assessments are conducted by the ATO/CC/PP who also conducts the training for the trainee, the request is to be made by the ATO/CC/PP as the last-stop ATO.

 

For ATO’s Action

 

5.            All ATOs are to adhere to the above WSQ policy. A separate communication to all ATOs/ CCs/ PPs will be sent by POLWEL Co-operative Society Limited  on the workflow process when the ATO/CC/PP receives requests for full qualifications from the trainees directly in the event that POLWEL Co-operative Society Limited  is the last-stop ATO. 

 

 

Trainees should only approach POLWEL AAO for full qualification printing if POLWEL is the assessment centre that has assessed the last WSQ SOA leading to full qualification.

 

  1. Trainees are required to approach POLWEL AAO in person at the following address for full qualification printing.

                Hours: Monday – Friday (excluding Public Holidays), 9.30 am to 12.30pm, 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

  1. Trainees are required to bring along their relevant assessment records/SOAs as proof of Competency leading to the full qualification printing.
  2. A $5 admin fee (inclusive of GST) is chargeable for each qualification printing.
  3. The full qualification electronic certificate (i.e. e-cert) will be emailed directly to the candidate once it’s ready.
