WSQ e-Certificates

Announcement of WSQ e-Cert Full Launch on 3 Nov 2014

WDA has developed an e-Cert system to digitise and automate the issuance of the WSQ SOAs, Transcripts and Qualifications as e-Certificates.

From 3 November 2014 onwards, electronic certificates (e-Certs) will be issued to trainees who have attended and attained competency in Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training modules or have attained full WSQ qualifications.

This will replace the current hardcopy certificate issuance process, and will benefit the following groups of users:

  • Trainees, who will receive notification via email and/or SMS to download their e-Certs within two working days upon submission of results by the training organisations, and 15 working days for Qualifications or Transcripts upon e-mail request by the training organisations. The current average waiting time for trainees to receive their hardcopy WSQ certificates is three months after the assessments. The e-Certs will be available in the SkillsConnect account of trainees, hence allowing them to search and download their e-Cert at their convenience. Also, they will no longer need to be concerned about safekeeping their hardcopy certificates.
